Rankings Rise Yet Again

25 Feb

I”m now having to re-consider how busy you lot are ………………………….as I simply cannot believe what is happening with our rankings shooting higher and higher.

Don’t worry I’m only teasing, I know how hard you all work!! But do you think that maybe it’s due to lots of Wag people who are spending a much of their time reading welshfoodbites? Mmmmmm guess that’s a possibility! But if that is the case, it would only be polite to congratulate them and say that I admire their good taste in Welsh food websites. I look forward to getting their comments in …………..

Our latest figures are shown below:

Ranking @ 25/2/11: welshfoodbites was 556,888 as compared to truetaste.tv at 2,038,842 and walesthetruetaste at 1,643,779

If Wag are not hanging their head in shame, then they should be
fantastic, fantastic results from a fantastic, fantastic site
Someone knows what we want to read about and it is certainly not our food civil servants
wonder if your figures go down on Friday pm when I understand Wag knock off early

amazing figures and as someone has said you have only been hindered in all your work on Welsh food
you’ve and your staff have been a breath of fresh air in this industry and done so much to help us all
    may your success continue

you’ve done the work and the rankings show how much we are enjoying your efforts.
ours is often a lonely life but this has made a difference
especially when we all seem of the same mind.

This is brilliant – what terrific figures.
I’d love to know how much money has spent even over the alst five years on food websites but you can be sure they’d never have the bottle to tell us in the industry let alone the public.
Reading through a lot of this site and as a regular Welsh Country addict it’s clear why Wag aren’t being helpful to you guys………you’re supposed to say they are wonderful and doing a wonderful job for the industry. It takes strong people to admit they have things wrong and/or that things can be improved and I think Wag is lacking is strength and basic common sense. So you have carried on rattling their cage and they simply haven’t the bottle to say: you have raised many valid points, we can see we that we have lots of areas for improvement – let’s sit down and work together!
What a huge pity and what a huge opportunity that Wag are missing.

You shouldn’t be surprised at these rankings
This site is very good and deserves to be ranked so highly. People are talking and are in agreement with you
I’ve never visited either of the Wag sites you mention but then don’t feel I have missed anything either – they’re not speaking our language

I’ve been slow to catch on to this site and have been told I don’t need to give my real name as I’m going for a grant and I don’t want that suddenly stopped because I am unhappy with the way Wag works.
as you’re getting such great figures it surely proves even to the most stupid people that this is what we want and what we need.
I must say thanks for the work you do for local food
last year was difficult for many of us and this year looks to be even worse

I’ve just read Jay’s comments and understand how he/she feels
it’s tough out there trading and Wag should be supporting ALL sides of our industry, instead we feel that they are working against us, which isn’t right.
I’m happy this site is giving us discussion points, news and a voice
    we certainly need one

I think this is a fabulous site I have been on here for hours – there is so much food news, gossip and info
    I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a young lad my dad’s advice to me was to ask people who knew more than you. Get their advice – it was always for free so that was ok. Talking to others in business it’s advice they’ve followed too. With this good food site and magazine I would have hoped that someone in Wag would have received the sensible parental advice that I did. But reeading the news on here it seems they either haven’t or are simply too proud to ask for help. If only the saying ——pride comes before a fall applies ———— many of us would be feeling that justice had at last been done!!

You carry on showing WAG how to do a food site
    this is a terrific site
it’s made me cross and it’s made me laugh – I would not swap jobs with you I haven’t got the patience to deal with WAG
