Food Bites Co-Incidence?

24 Oct

I thought I’d point out a co-incidence between welshfoodbites and Food Bytes.

I created welshfoodbites in July 2010 as a means of communicating to our Best Of Welsh & Borders producers and a way of highlighting the problems and issues I see and you raise with me about Welsh food.

Food Bytes is a Wag newsletter, issued quarterly and only began in April 2011.

I wonder who decided to call it food bytes and why………………………………………?

I wonder if a ‘ consultant ‘ was hired to come up with the name ?

    Hey Kath,
Would you like me to forward a copy of Food Bytes for April 2010?
    All the best,

My point was that Food Bytes came out before your blog. So where does the coincidence lie?
I actually thought you were being ironic!

Can I suggest that on the website under ‘Previous Editions’ you/Wag show more than two issues?
There’s only April 2011 and July 2011 available.
Perhaps ‘someone’ has made the decision that the other editions aren’t worth keeping
    Yes ironic sums it up.

I have nothing to do with the Welsh Government’s website – I simply reacted to your proposition that they had taken the name of their newsletter from your blog, whereas the facts seem to suggest that it was the other way round, do they not?
    All the best,
