What a big blow this is for the area. I’m baffled by funding and who gets what but the visitors this fab festival always brought in is obviously no longer deemed important by the government or Council. I am furious this great event is not taking place.

This is such a blow to us. Food festivals are so important but you have shown how, as ever, the government don’t get it. A brilliant, busy festival and locals and visitors will miss it. Maybe a helping hand will come from somewhere, who knows

How sad that should a good festival in the north can no longer run
those involved must be thanked for all their work and they must be sad it is over.
a lot of traders like me will miss the money from it

as if we don’t have enough probelms to deal with one of the best festivals in Wales has thrown in the towel.
I wonder if wag or cwyain could have offered more help, or best say some help.
I feel neither of these 2 give a toss about food festivals, not that I find Visit Wales cares either when these are events that attaract visitors.
Food and drink in Wales is in a huge mess.
